Life & Art
It's officially 11 hours to go till the fist batch of decisions trickles down for R2 applicants. I have finally conquered the 3-day battle, and achieved a quasi-zen peace. After neurotically replaying the past 5 months of the whole journey, I am content with the fact that I have given 100%, and have learnt a lot along the way. I am now busy compiling a list of concepts, which I would like to rediscover:
1. Sleep.
2. Mental Tranquility.
3. My Little Black Book.
4. Workplace Productivity.
5. Sony PS2 - Gran Turismo 4 is now officially out *evil grin*
To kick off the lifestyle rediscovery campaign, I dusted off the formal wear and went to a benefit last night. This Gala featured dinner, cultural performances, and an auction. The items up for auction were a dozen paintings done by Indonesian Elementary School children to raise funds for the tsunami victims in their country. I put my money where my mouth is and got myself a masterpiece by a 9-year old, future Asian icon. Along with the personal satisfaction of my purchase, is the added upside that I may have the first-sold painting of a budding artistic genius.
Good luck to my fellow Wharton R2 hopefuls.
